"When you photograph people in color, you photograph their cloths. When
you photograph in black and white, you photograph their soul" (Ted Grant)
WSP, or White Shirt Portraits is an on going project, which looks for the essence of each person that is in front of the camera by disclaiming all differentiation as to dress and color. In this way, any sensation or emotion provided from the clothing is removed, and everything that transmits the photo, what it shows us is the being behind the daily masks we put over us. The sight, the position of the arms, the face, the body… All of this speaks to us through the picture.
